The Warrigal Mount Warrigal Residential Aged Care home is where it all began for Warrigal, with our first Residential Care Home opening its doors right here in 1967. While we deeply respect our history, we also take pride in offering the most modern and innovative approaches to care. The timeless view across the lake is a testament to our heritage. With 40 places available, our home provides a warm and inviting ambience. High-quality furnishings and contemporary decor create a soothing atmosphere, complemented by natural sunlight, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing environment.

Meet Kate, Warrigal Mount Warrigal’s Residential Care Manager
Kate is a Registered Nurse with a strong clinical background in respiratory and infectious diseases, intensive care, and aged care, having worked across a range of health settings, including hospital, remote and rural agency nursing, and residential aged care. Her time at Warrigal began in June 2024 as a Clinical Nurse Specialist at Warrigal Albion Park Rail, where she later progressed into the role of Assistant General Manager.
In November 2025, Kate was appointed permanently as the General Manager at Warrigal Mount Warrigal, where she continues to support staff and residents to feel heard and valued. Her contributions have been instrumental in shaping the positive and supportive culture that Warrigal Mount Warrigal is known for.
In her role, Kate feels privileged to be such a meaningful part of people’s lives, and she loves hearing residents’ stories, understanding what matters to them, and supporting an environment where they can feel safe, respected, known, loved and connected.
Moving into aged care can be a big life transition, not only for the person moving in, but also for their family. Our aim is to provide care that is respectful, person-centred and supportive, while taking the time to get to know each resident as an individual. We want people to feel that Warrigal Mount Warrigal is not just a place where care is provided, but a place where they can feel safe, valued and part of a community.
