Meet Cindy, Warrigal Queanbeyan’s Residential Care Manager
Cindy has an extensive career background in the healthcare industry, with 13 years’ experience with ACT Health. Initially employed as Communications Officer whilst completing her Bachelor of Nursing, Cindy worked in Nursing for the next 10 years and gained experience in Community Nursing, Cardiac Catheter Lab Nursing, Coronary Care Nursing and 6 years of Emergency Nursing as an Acute, Resus, Triage and Critical Pediatric Nurse. Following this, Cindy became Clinical Coordinator and Navigator in the Emergency Department, and later joined Warrigal Queanbeyan Residential Care Home as General Manager.
In her role, Cindy loves building meaningful relationships with residents, protecting their dignity and independence, and making a lasting difference to the care they receive and quality of life they live. She loves working at Warrigal Queanbeyan, especially because of the people, and enjoys getting to know our residents and their history prior to entering the home. Cindy loves the community that has been built at Warrigal Queanbeyan and working with a team that genuinely cares about making everyday lives better.
