Warrigal is pleased to announce the appointment of Sophie Ray to its Board of Directors, effective March 2025. This appointment strengthens the Board’s capabilities in strategic governance and organisational transformation, at a time of significant change in the aged care sector.

Sophie is a highly regarded Non-Executive Director and governance expert with a passion for guiding organisations through periods of change and growth. With a background in law, she brings extensive experience in governance, risk management, and strategic oversight across sectors including early childhood, veterans’ support, migration and refugee services, gender equality, education, and more.

Following an extensive search for a director with expertise in organisational transformation, Sophie’s appointment complements Warrigal’s skills-based Board, ensuring strong leadership as the organisation adapts to the evolving aged care sector.
