Warrigal first opened its doors in 1968 with our first residential care home on top of Mount Warrigal, located just a short drive from Warrigal Lake South. Since then, we’ve seen amazing growth and expanded to 18 locations, 12 of which are located in the Illawarra, and the others in the Southern Highlands, Queanbeyan, and Canberra regions.

We provide a mix of aged care services and retirement living, including Residential Aged Care, Home Services, and of course our Community Villages, which accommodate the needs and lifestyles of older people in our community. We promote ageing in place for our villagers, so at Warrigal Lake South you’ll enjoy easy access to our Home Services, as well the option to transition into one of our Residential Care Homes if your support needs change.

We were recently recognised for our efforts at the 2024 Illawarra Business Awards, taking home the awards for Excellence in Workplace Culture, Excellence in Large Business, and the prestigious Business of the Year.
