At Warrigal, we offer an Assistant Care Employee Support Program, designed for students aged 16-25 years who are completing their final years of high school or university, and are interested in a pathway to the health industry while studying. Keep reading to learn more about our ACE Support Employees, and how you can get involved.
The Assistant Care Employee (ACE) Support role provides assistance to residents/customers with non-personal care activities, supporting the delivery of safe and quality care.
Reporting to the Registered Nurse or person-in-charge, the ACEs generally work short afternoon and weekend shifts, with additional hours available during school holidays and study breaks.

This program offers an exciting opportunity for young students to gain hands-on experience and training in aged care, with pathways into Nursing, Allied Health, Administration and Hospitality available also.
All ACE Support employees participate in face-to-face onboarding, ongoing workshops and online modules throughout their employment with Warrigal, and gain future opportunities to grow their career.
